We are excited to be able to offer a full set of homestead-level processing equipment for rent, to meet your at-home processing needs.
RENT ME
electric chicken plucker:
The Yardbird plucker comfortably and efficiently plucks 3-4 chickens at a time. Requires a water and electricity source.
Single Burner:
A powerful Bayou Classic propane burner will efficiently heat up your scald water to 143 degrees for that perfect scald. The burner features a standard regulator for connecting to a propane tank.
Scald Pot:
62 stainless steel quarts worth of space, enough to scald most poultry prior to plucking. *You may need something bigger for XXL turkeys.
Kill cones:
We have sizes XL, Large and Medium to fit most of your processing needs.
Poultry crates:
For safe handling of your poultry from field to processing.
$100/day,
all inclusive.
Pick Up & Drop off:
Equipment is picked up the evening before your planned processing date, and returned to us the evening of the last day of processing. You may book for up to three consecutive days. If you book for weekend use, you must book and pay for a minimum of two days.
Equipment pick up and drop off hours are Mon-Fri between 5:00-6:30pm, depending on our availability that day. Please specify your preferred pick up time on your booking form, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Late return Fee:
We may have another customer booked to rent our equipment immediately after you. Please be considerate and return equipment on time, so that we can be sure to have it available for the next person. Late returns will incur an additional $50 fee, on top of our per day fee, for each day late.
Deposit:
We require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your booking date, and a card on tab to cover any late or no-show fees.
Card Service Fee:
A 3.5% service fee applies to all card transactions
