ABOUT

We are a WSDA processing service for local, low-volume farmers, and educational hub offering opportunities to learn homestead food production skills.

Our aim is to help equalize processing opportunities for small scale farmers who wish to sell their products,  and to support local homesteaders with the resources they need to grow their own.

We are only one cog in the wheel of our local food system, and we need many more like ourselves to support a thriving agricultural community. By increasing the number of small-scale processors in the region, we hope to serve as a model and inspiration for the next generation of farmers and butchers.

HOW WE
DID IT

Our story is one about a community coming together to create something that would allow small farmers to bring their poultry to market. Together we built something that gives back to the community that brought it to life. Dreamed and coordinated by Lulu Redder, owner of Feral Woman Farm, but built by many hands and hearts who contributed to this project.

We are endlessly thankful for your support and faith in our ability to accomplish the goal of making this valuable resource available to our region.
